14.07.10 - Change Theme
I've added a pointless but fun new feature to this site - now you can use the Change Theme item in the menu to choose a color theme using jQuery. Your choice will even save itself with HTML5 LocalStorage if possible.
To make this work the site is now using a lot of transparent PNGs so IE6 is no longer supported at all. Some design elements wont display properly in any Internet Explorer - I recommend
Chrome or Firefox.
04.05.10 - Marklunney.com
Previously locked to another owner, www.marklunney.com became available so I was quick to buy it and switch this site from it's previous domain www.markplunney.com (no 'P' in the middle now). Hopefully people will stop thinking my name was Mark Plunney now. Please update any links/bookmarks you might have as I'll be slowly phasing the old domain out.
31.12.09 - New Logo for 2010
I've finished up the redesign of MarkPLunney.com (that's the site you're on now!) with a shiny new logo. The old Shark logo hasn't found its way to the recycle bin yet - I'll be using it on a new site very soon.
This will be my last news post of the decade! Lots to come in 2010, I have a new game, new website and a new Chrome extension all due to launch in January alone. Happy new year!
06.07.09 - Quick Comments
The comments for news posts now use some nifty JavaScript so you can use the 'Post Quick Comment' button to say something without leaving this page. You can switch to the full mode at any time to include your email address or website. This might be superfluous as people rarely comment anyway, but maybe this will encourage people to comment more!
23.06.09 - New Server and Domain
My previous host was taken down from server attacks, in turn taking down all of my websites that I had hosted with them. I took the opportunity to set up a Virtual Private Server and gradually I will be migrating all websites to here.
Some of my domains including chromesharkmedia.com are stuck with the old host until I can transfer them over. I set up this new domain markplunney.com for now though I might make it my primary website even when the others are back online.
Some of the data I had stored locally was a bit out of date so a few news posts and such are missing for now. Everything should be back to normal soon enough.
