I've worked as a creative developer for several digital agencies, creating advertising for over 20 clients with a range of technology. I'm currently freelancing as a HTML5/JavaScript developer in agencies around London.
DoubleClick
HTML5 Challenge
I developed Lean Mean Fighting Machine's entry into DoubleClick's HTML5 challenge, an interactive machine that visualized the users thoughts by displaying images and YouTube videos based on their text/speech input.

Our banner won the contest, achieving a days placement on YouTube's homepage and a showcase in DoubleClick's Rich Media Gallery.
Google
Translate Banners
I developed a series of banners to advertise Google Translate for Chrome that pulled in foreign news using Google's Feed API, then allow the user to translate them using the Translate API.
Visit Sweden
Lapland Lotto
The Super Swedish Lapland Lotto was a project I worked on for Visit Sweden, and consisted of a lotto-type competition to win tickets to Sweden.
Strongbow
The Last Word
A Facebook app to show a new ending to Strongbow's 'The Last Word' commercial each day, and browse through the endings that aired previously.

Festival Fun
As part of Strongbow's 2011 festival sponsorship, I developed an app for their Facebook page to show line-ups and pull in photos using the Facebook API.

Catch 'n' Crush
A game I developed for the Magners Facebook page. Players crush apples as quickly as they can to compete with their friends and win prizes.

Fosters Pourtal
I developed a HTML5 app for the Fosters Facebook page to promote their new Pourtal pouring system and help users find their nearest pub.
Vic & Bob's Speedy Pants
A game written in HTML5 and jQuery, where players had to remove Vic's pants as fast as they could to win tickets to their new comedy tour.
Toyota
YouTube Masthead
For Toyota Yaris I worked with DoubleClick Studio to develop a video container for an advertisment by Saatchi & Saatchi. The banner was featured on the Youtube.com homepage for a day.

Google I/O Extended London 2012
Google I/O Extended 2012 London was a two day event organized in partnership with Google, with activities in three floors of Google Campus and over 200 developers attending to watch sessions, try out new Google devices and join the 'Develop for Good' hackathon.

Google I/O Extended London 2011
I organized a two day event to coincide with Google I/O 2011, giving people an opportunity to watch Google's keynotes streamed live from the conference in Mountain View. More than 100 people attended over both days.
DevFest London
A joint event between GDG London and Google, with two days of Google Developer talks, hacking and fun things to try out. I organized both days in collaboration with Google and gave the intro talk.

Chrome Add-Ons

Chrome World Cup
A set of 33 country themes for Google Chrome, developed as part of Google's Fifa World Cup 2010 promotion. They reached over 200,000 downloads in just three days.
Evolved Arcade
A gaming app that pulls games in simplistic and intuitive jQuery interface. The app has over 50,000 users in the Chrome Web Store.

University Projects
Get Fit with Wolverhampton FC
A game to teach children about health and fitness whilst also promoting the Wolverhampton Football club. The application was purchased by the club and distributed to local schools.
Byteworld: An Internet Safety Adventure
An educational game designed to teach children aged 8-12 how to stay safe on the Internet, with video clips that I filmed and edited.
Counting and Time in Japanese
A software package to teach users how to recognize, draw and speak numbers and times in Japanese. The program is compatible with touch screens and includes recorded Japanese speech.
